Yarn drawing

I did this activity years ago while I was in Denmark visiting one of my little friends. She is not actually little anymore. I remember when I drew this picture because we were in her kitchen after going to the local craft shop for supplies.

This is a great creative activity as it’s open-ended and your child can use their creative abilities to create fantastic artwork. There is no wright or wrong. They can draw a realistic picture or abstract like I did. This activity is also great for fine motor skills! Are you going to give it a go?

Ingredients

• Canvas or card-stock paper
• Yarn
• Scissors
• glue

Instructions

To start with I spread glue all over the canvas.

Then show your child how they can draw with the string.
